Within this prototype, I have programmed a 2D top-down retro shooter. This project was completely scripted in Unity, using MonoDev. I have used both Java and C# libaries for this project. Scripting features included are player and enemy movement, attack and super attack, menu system, high score, and scoreboard system, Day/Night time system, Json saving system, particle animation events, and a randomization spawning system. This game is built to run on both PC, WebGL, and Andriod.
Retro Shooter UI/UX
To favor the retro gaming theme, I have designed the UI/UX sprites with a 16-bit art style. Sprite art includes both playable and enemy ships, Andriod touch controller icons, and cloud particle effects, for animation. This was accomplished within Adobe Photoshop. The scoreboard and logo were created using Adobe Illustrator.
